A super easy quick way to pimp your porridge in less than 10 minutes.
Cathryn's quick mixed berry compote recipe is below 🍓
Ingredients:
Frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) 150g
100% Dark maple syrup 2 x tsbp
Method:
Put all ingredients in a pan and gently heat through until fruit is no longer frozen and heated thoroughly. Don't boil!
Use immediately on top of a bowl of porridge.
Can be stored in the fridge, use within 3 days.
This mixed berry compote used as a topper is the perfect addition to our Apple and Cinnamon porridge oats or Simply Plain.
Drizzle a little nut butter on top, such as Nutural World Almond & Coconut
